The most important part of the bag is the beautiful antique frame which is intricately beaded with tiny jewels and rhinestone crystals .It. dates from the 1940s and is made by Wahlborg who made the most exquisite white beaded purses in Paris in the 1940 s . It has exquisite beading intertwined with rhinestones . In perfect condition despite its age . I found this frame in a vintage textile market where it was attached to the original purse which was very badly damaged .
The bag itself is made in french ivory lace hand beaded with pearls stretched over ivory duchesse silk .A vintage crystal brooch lies beneath the handle .
The interior of the bag is made in matching ivory silk and further embellished with vintage ribbon detail .
The bag measures 7 inches wide by 8 inches long . It has a shoulder length dull gold chain handle .
