Antique silver hall marked 800 purse frame remade in black silk velvet.

Beautiful antique silver purse frame c 1920 it measures 8 inches wide. Hall marked 800 on the side. Beautiful carving of dancing cherubs and putti set amongst flowers and leaves . The original chain handle is still attached held by the wings of birds . The frame is very heavy.
The bag is made in black silk velvet.
The end of the bag is finished in beaded fringing . I feel this would make a beautiful bridal purse or mother of the bride .
A vintage glass Czech brooch is pinned to the front This can be removed .
The inside of the bag is lined in Silver duchess silk and decorated with vintage ribbon and crochet flowers.
Overall the bag measures 8 wide by 12 inches long to include the fringing .
