Antique gilt jewelled purse frame UpCycled and remade in deep purple silk velvet.

This lovely jewelled purse frame is antique dating from around 1940 . Possibly Austrian but no markings on it . It measures 6 1/2 inches wide . The original chain handle is still attached . I have remade the purse in deep purple silk velvet. The sides of the purse are finished in dull gold vintage braid and the end of the bag is finished in vintage beaded fringing .
A vintage Czech brooch is pinned to the front and two vintage gold buttons finish off the sides.
The inside of the bag is lined in matching silk and decorated with vintage ribbon and crochet flowers .
This has been hand made in Ireland using antique pieces sourced from all over the world .
The purse measures 7 inches wide by 12 inches long to include the fringing .
