Antique jewelled purse frame UpCycled and remade in antique woven silk

Antique gold plate purse frame with tiny jewels embedded in the frame . Pretty enamel flowers separate the jewels . The frame is French made around 1930 . It measures 7 inches wide . The kiss lock has two amber coloured jewels and works perfectly . The original chain handle is still attached .
The purse itself is made from antique silk shawl fabric . Very fine woven fabric in a Zig Zag design . These shawls inspired the Missoni Family who subsequently bought the looms. The colours are stunning green Pink and blue . . A vintage Czech brooch lies beneath the handle.
The purse is lined in matching silk with vintage ribbon. The sides are finished in vintage gold braid and the end of the purse is finished with vintage beaded fringing
The purse measures 7 inches wide by 10 inches long . The purse is a combination of antique textiles and genuine antique purse frame remade by hand in Ireland .
